Preserving the quality and beauty of neighborhoods through enforcement of City regulations.
Description
The Office of Building Safety provides plan review, permitting, and inspection services to implement building codes and standards to safeguard public health and safety for the built environment. The Office provides building code enforcement services to enhance neighborhood quality and general welfare.

The Building and Safety Department is committed to providing a timely and professional review of plans and documents for all building permit applications to assure that the proposed work complies with all state and local codes and requirements.

Record Research
Record research can be done through ApplicationXtender on the internet to access public records documents or in the City Hall by using either internal software to access digitized documents images or by reviewing microfilm images of older projects.
