The City of Milpitas utilizes electronic plan submittals to improve and automate all plan review applications. Permit applicants will be able to view changes and markups, and they can edit and submit plan drawings online. Benefits of the system include reduction of paper usage and storage cost and elimination of unnecessary trips by applicants to City Hall. The turnaround time for plan reviews is shortened by several days for most project applicants.
