Milpitas partners with local nonprofit groups to create a more vibrant cultural arts scene in Milpitas by
offering these groups opportunities to host performances, workshops, exhibits, lectures, and other culturally enriching activities, rent-free at City-owned facilities. Groups may request to host up to two events per fiscal year, and the cumulative total of hours used cannot exceed 40. Groups may apply to use any rentable City space, including the Mobile Stage. Applications are approved by the Arts Commission.
Applications must be made a minimum of 12 weeks before the desired event to allow for approval, but six months prior is strongly recommended, in order to maximize the marketing support the City can provide.
