2025-2026 School Year Leading Youth Futures Everyday (LYFE) - After School Program
The City of Milpitas Leading Youth Futures Everyday (LYFE) Program is excited for the opportunity to serve you and your child(ren) for the upcoming 2025 to 2026 School Year! The program starts August 13, 2025 and runs through June 5, 2026 from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m., including minimum days.
Registration began online on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 9 p.m. and in-person on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Milpitas Community Center or Milpitas Sports Center.

Program Cost & Registration
LYFE enrollment is $11 a day ($1,980 for the school year). Enrollment costs can be paid in full or paid through an affordable payment plan.
Registration began online on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 9 p.m. and in-person on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Milpitas Community Center or Milpitas Sports Center.

Each transaction will be subject to a service fee. Online transaction fee subject to change by third party vendor.
For families who need further assistance, the Milpitas Assistance Program (MAP) is available which provides discounts of up to $1,000 on Recreation and Community Services classes and programs, per household, per year!
Payments & Payment Plans
- All families registered in the After the Bell payment plan will be required to have a valid credit card on file. Families will have the choice to pay in-person three days prior to the payment due date or have ActiveNet automatically charge the credit card on file at midnight on the day payment is due. In-person transaction fees will be $6 per transaction. Your initial payment due at registration will be charged a transaction fee. See below for breakdown:
- 8.5006% + $1.16 for totals $0 - $150
- 4.5774% + $6.40 for totals $150 - $500
- 3.2696% + $12.21 for totals $500+
- *No minimum service charge
- Transaction fees are non-refundable
- All payments must be received, in full, on or before the deadlines listed above. Should a payment not be received by the deadline, your spot will be forfeited to the next person on the waitlist list for the entire school year. There will be no grace period for late payments. Please make sure all credit cards on file are valid and current.
- Registration/payments will not be accepted at the schools/program sites.
- An additional non-resident fee of $27 for non-Milpitas residents (per registered child) is due with the first payment. For Milpitas residents, please be prepared to provide two proofs of residency.
Refunds
- To request a refund, submit a Refund Request Form in-person at a City facility or by email to sports_center@milpitas.gov.
- Requests must be made promptly. Forms for past program dates will not be accepted.
- Refunds are calculated based on the submission date plus 10 calendar days. Participants will be refunded for unused program days beyond that date, minus a $10 service fee. Material and transaction/service fees are non-refundable.
- Example: If a refund request is submitted on September 1, 2025, the refund will be calculated based on September 10, 2025.
Waitlist
- If a site is full, you have the option of joining the waitlist online through ActiveNet. Payment is not required until registering into program.
- If a spot opens at a site, City staff will contact families based on the order of the waitlist. The order is determined by the chronological date and time of waitlist registration.
- Being placed on the waitlist does not guarantee enrollment into the program.
- If City staff contacts you regarding an open spot at a site and you are not ready to register at that time, your name will be removed from the waitlist, or you be moved to the bottom of the waitlist.
- If after several attempts we are not able to contact you via phone calls or emails, you will be removed from the waitlist.
