Background
The Urban Water Management Planning Act (California Water Code §10608 to 10656) requires the City of Milpitas to update its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and associated Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) every 5 years.
Updated Urban Water Management Plan
On June 15, 2021 the Milpitas City Council adopted the 2020 UWMP and 2020 WSCP. The updated UWMP and WSCP were submitted to the California Department of Water Resources on July 1, 2021. The final 2020 UWMP and WSCP are available for public review:
