Milpitas proudly honors its U.S. military veterans and military personnel from all branches at a formal ceremony each Veterans Day. The Milpitas Community Concert Band will be performing a selection of patriotic music, and the Veterans Commission announces its Veteran of the Year, someone who embodies military virtues and has selflessly served not only the country but also the community.
