The Milpitas Office of Emergency Services keeps the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in a constant state of readiness for City staff to manage and respond to emergency situations affecting the residents and business community of Milpitas. The EOC structure of Command supports the State-mandated Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS), and the Federal-mandated National Incident Management System (NIMS).
