If you are are between the ages of 16 and 18 years old, the City of Milpitas offers many programs, activities, and services for the community. Explorers are recruited to assist in various City programs to support and supplement existing resources.
Public Education Programs educate the general public on fire safety issues, much of which is targeted at school-aged children.
A parent who is unable or unwilling to care for a newborn can surrender the infant within 72 hours of birth without fear of being prosecuted, as long as the baby shows no signs of abuse or neglect.
