The City of Milpitas invites qualified professional artists to submit concepts for an artist-designed historical park marker kiosk that will be unique to Milpitas. The City Council has approved this project to commission artist-designed Historical Park Markers to honor these park namesakes and educate the public about their historical importance, as well as provide an opportunity to display art by local residents. In Phase One of the project, markers will be installed in seven parks. The deadline to submit an application is February 12, 2024, 5 p.m.
