The SCVWD, Army Corp., and Union Pacific Railroad will close South Milpitas Boulevard Next Week

The SCVWD, Army Corp., and Union Pacific Railroad will close South Milpitas Boulevard to complete flood control and rail crossing improvements next week.

• The road closure is between Montague Expwy. and Garden Street.

•  The detour used previously for the closure of South Milpitas will be in effect – map attached.

• Construction work and street closure are to start Monday, October 2nd through Tuesday, October 10th.

• South Milpitas may be opened earlier than the 10^th if Union Pacific finishes early.

The SCVWD has issued the attached notice and detour map for the work/road closure, and will distribute to affected business and residents within the road closure.
