BECOME A RECREATION LEADER FOR THE CITY OF MILPITAS

Make a difference in the community by becoming a Recreation Leader! The City of Milpitas is actively recruiting Recreation Leaders for after school programs at various elementary (ATB) and middle (LYFE) schools across Milpitas, and the new Teen Center.

What is a Recreation Leader?

Recreation Leaders plan, organize and implement recreation, cultural and athletic activities for the youth in Milpitas. Recreation Leaders get paid to play! It is a very fun and fulfilling job, that makes a positive impact on the youth in the community.

Time Commitment

After the Bell Elementary School shifts are typically Monday-Friday, from 1:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. LYFE Middle Schools shifts are typically Monday- Friday, from school dismissal until 5:30pm. Teen Center shifts are Monday-Friday, late afternoon to evenings, with some select weekends.

The fun doesn’t stop when the school year ends! Work hours available year round!
