Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will be transferring power from overhead lines to underground lines Wednesday Night, 01/15/20, from 9pm to 6am along southbound Capitol Ave south of Montague Expressway in front of the new development at 730 and 750 Capitol Ave near the new S Milpitas Blvd. Prep work for this transfer will take place during the day on Tuesday 01/14/20 between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm. Traffic control will be on Capitol Ave closing the southbound number 3 lane. The transfer work is being done at night to accommodate VTA’s request since power to their facilities will be disrupted. No residential power should be affected.

Location: Capitol Ave south of Montague Expressway (south of 650 Capitol apartments) southbound to the southernmost part of 750 Capitol Ave.

- Traffic Control set-up beginning 7am with work hours of 7am to 3pm for day work.
- Traffic Control set-up beginning 9pm with work hours of 9pm to 6am for night work.
