Overnight Lane Closures on State Route 680
Between San Jose and Milpitas For Pavement Maintenance Project
Starting Monday, July 29, 2019
Santa Clara County– Caltrans will temporally close one lane and various off ramps
overnight on State Route 680 between Scott Creek Road, Milpitas, and the Interstate
280/Interstate 101 junction, in San Jose. The work will include paving maintenance and
vegetation management at various off/on ramp locations. Overnight construction is
scheduled to begin the week of July 29 and will be completed by winter 2020. Nearby
businesses and residents will experience normal construction noise which will be
monitored. Detours will be in place. Work is weather permitting.
Overnight Work Schedule and Lane Closures:
Northbound:
• Sunday through Thursday: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Southbound:
• Sunday through Thursday: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.
