Electrical Vehicle Charging System (Ventilation Not Required)

This permit will allow installation of electric vehicle charging system for single family residence when ventilation is not required.

Please select “ONL EVC” as Permit Type.

  • Verification of a Contractor’s license should be provided to the Building Inspector by the Contractor.
  • Prior to scheduling the final inspection, a Business license must be obtained by the Contractor from the City of Milpitas.

  • A construction activity permit from the Department of Industrial Relations Division of Occupational Safety and Health (CAL-OSHA) is required for Construction of trenches or excavations which are five feet or deeper and into which a person is required to descend.
