Founded July 1, 1992. The Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Commission (PRCRC) advises the City Council regarding the operation and maintenance of recreation, leisure services, and historic preservation activities. The Commission also advises the City Council on the acquisition, planning, and development of new and existing parks and facilities. 7 Commissioners and 2 Alternate Members are appointed to three-year terms.

The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Commission shall hold meetings the 1st Monday of every month except July, at 7:00 PM at the Committee Conference Room in City Hall, or a designated location.
