NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION: NO ON-STREET PARKING
Street Resurfacing Project 2018

Dear Residents,
Starting the week of September 4th, Granite Construction Company will be resurfacing the streets on Escuela Parkway, Calle Oriente, Kennedy Drive, Wool Drive, and Traughber Street. The construction operations will effect on-street parking and vehicle access to these streets. The work on each street will take 2-4 days to be completed during the working hours from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Construction Notices and “No Parking” signs will be posted at least 72hrs in advance to advise of the work. To allow for the prompt completion of the pavement resurfacing operations, please ensure that your vehicle(s) is not parked within the posted roadway between the hours posted on the sign.
Temporary travel lanes, driveway closures and detours will be set-up and may affect your normal driving routes and travel times on these streets. It is advised to allow additional time for travel during the duration of the construction. The City staff will work with the contractor to minimize impacts.
Temporary construction impacts include restricted on-street parking, driveway closures, construction noise, odors, and uneven roadway surface.
Future advance notices of pending construction will be provided approximately 72-hours before the start of work.
TIPS TO MINIMIZE INCONVENIENCE
WATCH FOR SIGNAGE: Parking restrictions and planned workdays will be posted on “NO PARKING” signs 72hrs in advance.
AVOID THE CONSTRUCTION AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE: Due to the necessary driveways closures and temporary travel lane during the resurfacing operation, we ask residents to please park vehicle(s) on adjacent side streets if vehicle travel is planned for this duration. In addition, we ask residents to be cautious of fresh tar, debris, equipment, workers and other nuisances and hazards when near the construction zones.
