Sunnyhills Albert Augustine Jr. Memorial Park holds a very special place in history, as the Sunnyhills neighborhood was the nation’s first planned integrated community and this park has been a symbol of racial harmony. This large neighborhood park is located along the Hetch-Hetchy pipeline trail that runs north-south through Milpitas. Just north along the trail is the Milpitas Community Garden.
