Murphy Park is a favorite location for outdoor events, including the concerts and movies in the park on a large lawn. Its picnic area is shaded by lovely mature trees. Popular with dogwalkers, joggers and cyclists, Murphy Park also has paved perimeter trail linking it to adjacent Merryhill Elementary School and several other nearby parks.
