HOW CAN I REDUCE JUNK MAIL?
  • To be removed from direct mail registries, register at DirectMail.com or DMAchoice.org. It can take a few weeks for the flow of unwanted mail to stop since many mailings are already in print or production.
  • To discontinue unwanted catalogs, register at CatalogChoice.org or call unwanted catalogs to request removal. Oftentimes, companies are happy to take you off the list because it helps them save money by not printing unwanted catalogs.
  • To eliminate credit card promotional mailings, call 1-888-567-8688 (that is 888-5OPT-OUT) or visit OptOutPrescreen.com. You can choose between either a five-year removal or a permanent removal. For your personal credit cards, ask the company to place you on their “in house” list that is not sold or traded to other companies.
