Welcome to Recycling & Garbage Services

Collective efforts to “Recycle Right” by Milpitas residents and businesses add up to a 70% disposal reduction of landfilled materials since 1991. The City of Milpitas must comply with the state’s various solid waste and recycling legislation, such as: Assembly Bill 341Assembly Bill 1826, and Senate Bill 1383. SB 1383 is a new law that sets goals to divert organics (food scraps and yard trimmings) from the landfill and increase recycling. Check out Milpitas’s SB 1383 website.
