TV and Internet

DSC_1626Internet and Cable TV, in addition to email, social media and telephone communications, are the City’s primary means of engaging and interacting with its residents by making a vast range of information topics publicly accessible.

Citywide cable TV services are currently provided by Comcast under a franchise agreement.

Web services make vast amounts of information publicly available on over 1,000 web pages.

Comcast KMLP Channel 15 – Milpitas City Government

  • City Council 1st/3rd Tuesdays at 7:00pm
  • Planning Commission 2nd/4th Wednesdays at 7:00pm
  • MUSD Board 2nd/4th Tuesdays at 7:00pm
  • Throughout the day, the channel continuously displays City event notices and other advertisements.

Comcast MCTV Channel 26 – Public Access

  • Available to the City’s residents to show community-created content in a non-profit environment.
  • A dedicated production studio at City Hall can be used to produce shows and to prepare content for broadcasting.  It is operated by a non-profit group of volunteers under direction of the City’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Commission.
