Commercial and Residential Fees Outreach

The City of Milpitas would like to invite you to attend a community development meeting to discuss both residential and commercial affordable housing impact fees. During the meeting you will have an opportunity to learn about the new affordable housing ordinance and to provide input on affordable housing fees.

The Milpitas City Council voted on June 12, 2018, to pass an Affordable Housing Ordinance. This ordinance allows the City to raise funds for affordable housing through residential and commercial impact fees. The amount of commercial and residential impact fees will be set by the City Council through a resolution. The City Council aims to balance the need for affordable housing with a desire for continued economic growth.
