It is an historic time in Milpitas with unprecedented development and growth, including the opening of the Milpitas Transit Center and BART Station later this year. As a Council established priority area, the City of Milpitas is studying the feasibility of a citywide shuttle service to seek and develop collaborative solutions to meet the transportation challenges facing our community. This study, along with the results of this community survey, are intended to serve as a blueprint for implementing transit service that connects major transit hubs, employment centers, shopping areas, recreation facilities, major housing areas, and schools.
