A private development project contractor will be working along McCarthy Boulevard north of Ranch Drive on Weeknights (August 5th to August 8th). Traffic Control in the northbound direction will be in effect. Water main shutdowns are occurring to allow abandonment and installation of connections to the existing water main. The property owners and tenants affected by the shutdowns were notified more than a week ago. Details are below:
Preston Pipeline is planning on working on N McCarthy Blvd north of Ranch Drive North on the following nights (August 5th to August 8th) with traffic control in place closing one of the northbound lanes during the night from 7pm – 5am each night. The work will include abandonment and installation of water utility connections to the existing water main with a shutdown of the main to be controlled and monitored by City personnel each night.
Details on the work locations and work hours are listed below:
August 5th to August 9th :
- Location: N McCarthy Blvd north of Ranch Drive north (400 N McCarthy – 900 N McCarthy)
- Work Hours: 7 pm to 5 am
- Traffic Control: No.2 traffic lane will be closed.
- Water main shutdowns: controlled by City personnel with water restored to all affected parties (businesses between 400 and 900 N McCarthy) each morning.
