E-Waste Recycling
E-waste is a popular name for electronic products at the end of their “useful life.” Electronics is the largest growing segment of our nation’s waste stream. Some of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled. However, markets change and recycling companies struggle to stay current with what’s being generated. Be sure to call companies first to verify acceptance of your item(s).
E-waste recyclers do not accept Household Hazardous Waste, Mercury Filled Thermostats, Smoke Alarms with Radioactive Isotopes, Alkaline Batteries and Light Bulbs.
For Household Batteries and Fluorescent Bulbs: OSH at (408) 945-9555 or Home Depot at (408) 942-7301.
