MESSAGE FROM INTERIM CITY MANAGER DEANNA J. SANTANA

Summer is officially here, and it’s been wonderful to see our community coming together to enjoy the season from park picnics to concerts and everything in between. We’re excited for all that summer holds, and we’re off to a fantastic start thanks to everyone who helped make our July 4th Celebration such a memorable event. 

The Independence Day festivities were a true reflection of Milpitas' spirit, full of laughter, connection, and patriotic pride. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible Recreation Department for organizing the event, our Fire and Police Departments for keeping everyone safe, our Public Works team for their behind-the-scenes efforts, and to all the community members and volunteers who contributed to a successful celebration.
