Coastal Cleanup Day 2023

Join us for Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9:00 AM to noon at Los Coches Creek in Milpitas! Coastal Cleanup Day is an international day of action to protect our oceans, watersheds, and wildlife from trash and debris. Register today and be the solution to water pollution in Santa Clara County!

Every participant must sign the provided waiver found on https://cleanacreek.org/volunteer-info-2/, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Contact volunteer@valleywater.org regarding any questions about this cleanup site.

  • Cleanup supplies will be provided. Gloves, bags, and other cleanup supplies will be provided on-site.
  • Stay hydrated! Bring and fill up your reusable water bottle before you head out.
  • Wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and a hat! Don't forget to use sunscreen.

Talk trash and help spread awareness about littering by sharing cleanup posts and photos through social media using the hashtag #CCD2023 on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter!
