The Urban Water Management Planning Act (California Water Code §10608–10656) requires the City of Milpitas (“the City”) to update its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and associated Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) every 5 years. The City of Milpitas is currently reviewing its existing UWMP and associated WSCP, which were updated in 2016, and considering revisions to the documents. The updated UWMP and WSCP are due to the California Department of Water Resources by July 1, 2021. We invite you to participate in this revision process.

A draft of the 2020 UWMP and WSCP will be made available for public review as soon as it is available. A public hearing is scheduled for June 15, 2021.
